The Hospitality Engagement Index – Canada (HEI-C) is a research-based benchmarking tool using publicly available data. Rankings reflect relative performance under the HEI-C methodology only and do not constitute judgments of overall hotel quality, service excellence, or suitability for individual guests.
The Hospitality Engagement Index – Canada (HEI-C) was conceptualized and developed by the author, who also serves as the founder of Sustainable Globe. The index methodology, eligibility criteria, scoring rubric, and deduction rules were designed, revised, and validated by the author. Artificial intelligence tools were used solely as data-processing assistants to retrieve publicly available information and to apply the predefined scoring rules consistently.
